This idea came about over a few drinks in Madrid where Steve and I were talking about either a Who or Small Faces album that had the band on white podiums. Steve just phoned the idea into the record company. Then when we returned to London and arrived at a film studio in East London days later, they’d had these massive white podiums built in a huge white infinity cove. I recently found The Who album we were talking about at the time and the podiums are laughably tiny.
